G+_Steve C
So who's using IPv6 anyway and why do we care what they do in the U.K.? I guess if you were using a server to come out there it might be a problem but otherwise I don't see how it's any concern.
G+_Ron Nichols
I have been a user of PIA for almost 2 years. PIA has never failed one of my random IPv6 leak tests. According to the white paper, the DNS hijack uses DHCP which is disabled (by default?) with PIA.

G+_Steve C
You guys are kidding, right? Nobody is even using IPv6 yet so how do you test it? I just ran ipv6leak and it says I'm using IPv4, of course I already knew that.
G+_Ron Nichols
Steve C not kidding. I've been using IPv6 for a couple years when torrenting. Very helpful if your ISP throttles. I would double my down speed in the evening and many peers would only accept IPv6 connections. However, this has been backfiring lately because mischief makers have been flooding torrents with IPv6. Such is the internet...

G+_Steve C
Ron, how can you be using IPv6? It's not available anywhere yet as far as I can tell. It looks like everyone is worrying about a problem that doesn't exist. I use a VPN sometimes but I use Cyberghost and I don't see what that has to do with IPv6 since it works over the normal IPv4. "Ready for the future of the Internet? Sorry, we were unable to test your connection. Please try again. Just a moment, we’re testing your readiness for IPv6… You don’t have IPv6 I tried all these tests and they said it was not available! https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/forum/discussion/2114/ipv6-leak-dns-leak-e-mail-ip-leak
G+_Ron Nichols
Steve C It's interesting that you do not have IPv6. Do you have Teredo tunneling enabled? I wonder if the Google link checks for native IPv6 only? I have IPv6 on my Samsung Galaxy S4, my laptop running Vista, my torrent box running windows xp (only way to get it with PIA), and every other computer and tablet in my possession. It's definitely available in certain applications that I am familiar with (like torrenting) and has been an issue among the VPN user community for many years. What kind of machine are you running?
