I was just doing a search for local parks in google maps.  Found a 'RC airport' in my local town.

There's an RC airpark here too but I went up there to see and they have a gate across the road that's locked and a sign from the county saying it's closed to keep dust down.

Steve C Wow, I had no idea model aircraft were so prolific at stirring up dust. Meanwhile, relatively useless government officials "survey" storm damage by helicopter because "What, you mean I can take a helicopter ride?"

Steve C I'd think its more the cars driving in/out kicking up the dust.

Well I guess we will never know what causes the dust since the place is closed.  It might just be closed for the summer like a lot of other places though since not a lot of people want to go out in the 115 degree heat.
