G+_Kyle Mallory
I just released a TWiT app for Windows 8! I'm interested in hearing everyones feedback. Critiques, bug reports, and feature requests are all welcome. Just comment below! Thanks. I offer a free ad-supported 'trial version', so no excuses for not trying it out ;) Cool features include - IRC integrated into the live stream, downloads, and background audio. Even works in the new Windows 8.1 Preview. G+_Dave Trautman
Not using Win8 yet. If it allows me to watch archive netcasts at 1.5 and 2 times speeds then I would be interested. I may be odd (others think so) but I find it easy to listen and watch at faster speeds for most of the TWiT netcasts. Not every player has this feature. If yours does already then I'm barking up the wrong nested tree. ;-)
G+_Jake Lintrop
Dave Trautman The app doesn't have that feature... yet! But I just did some preliminary testing and was able to get everything playing at 2x speed on my computer so it should be doable. I will try to implement this feature in one of the next few updates. Thanks for the idea.
