Robert Ballecer, SJ was using a 5v power supply (battery I think) to power relays, can anyone here point me in the right direction (link) where I can buy these, all I seem to be able to find on eBay? are mains power adaptors. G+_Ben Reese Posted January 14, 2018 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Sorry... I guess I did watch that episode. He absolutely did use a UBEC - like the one I linked but different brand. I think I bought 3 to power Arduinos/Pis. I've got several old laptop power supplies lying around (usually 18+ volts), so these are great for knocking that power down to a useful voltage. Most times I'll probably only need 5V, but I put one in 6V to power a HD capture device that I didn't have a power supply for. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
