I've just finished watching an old episode, Episode 347 Cayenne Security on the cheap, +Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ was using a 5v power supply (battery I think) to power relays, can anyone here point me in the right direction (link) where I can buy these, all I seem to be able to find on eBay? are mains power adaptors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry... I guess I did watch that episode. He absolutely did use a UBEC - like the one I linked but different brand. I think I bought 3 to power Arduinos/Pis. I've got several old laptop power supplies lying around (usually 18+ volts), so these are great for knocking that power down to a useful voltage.

Most times I'll probably only need 5V, but I put one in 6V to power a HD capture device that I didn't have a power supply for.
