Hey guys! I just ordered a Syma X6 Super Ship and a GoPro, do you think I can make them work? Any ideas as far as mounting the camera?

Good I was able to say.. I think the quad might be a bit small for the gopro.

You think? I saw on YouTube some guys did it but they didn't say how they attached it. The x6 is big, it should handle it

Just watching the video the guy does not seem to be the most responsible person alive.

 

Just strap it to the top of the quad and see how it goes.

I think with the X6, I would find a way to mount a smaller camera. More like the Mobius Action Camera. The X6 is a little underpowered for the GoPro, but might handle the Mobius.

Besides, the Mobius is an easy camera to hack. It comes apart with two screws and you could eliminate some of it's weight by removing the case and possibly installing the camera inside the quad's shell and maybe with a BEC, use the quad's battery.

Hey, but that's me. Sometimes I'd rather work on them and do some mods instead of flying.

What I like about the GoPro is the wifi feature. I can use it as fpv....... Yeah that kid on YouTube is just dumb for flying over the kids

Jacob Alvarez? it's always suggested to turn off the Wi-Fi on the gopro as it runs on 2.4ghz the same as the transmitter that is controlling the quad.
