G+_Brian Sullivan
I can't get over the way the interface looks, it's just so cluttered. ?
G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
I like that you don't need to open the app to see the info you need, I like having a lot of apps in the screen it's a personal thing.
G+_Brian Sullivan
Fair enough. I think Microsoft has a very good platform here. As an iOS fan I can't see them pulling me away, especially with the limitations they are currently dealing with. I do believe windows 10 may finally give Microsoft some momentum if it works as advertised.
G+_Damian Mongru
I do like the look of the Windows Phone UI, and it's nice that they give you a chance to customise it how you want. Is there a way to scroll down the list one at screen at a time? There are still a few missing apps (for my use) but hopefully unifying the tablet and Phone world as well as universal apps , it may smoothe the route for reluctant developers. Anything new and exciting in the new preview?
G+_shadow silverlight
im with brian, as personal taste its too cluttered for me, but everyone has their preference and that is fine. im not a windows fan as i dealt with it from its start up to i believe win2k for personal at home use and up to win8 in work use. but if it works for you, great, its not for me anymore. i do hope that winOS can get into the market to give ios/android more competition for the benefit of the consumer. G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Damian Mongru notifications, messages, calendar, email, new Spartan browser so far, I have not use the phone much yet.? Yes you can flip the screen up and down to see what's below. Most people don't have this much on the screen. ?
G+_Damian Mongru
Eng. Jorge Santana The UI is going to be pretty similar to previous versions, so they just need to keep pushing the functionality (of the apps and the OS), and they seem to be doing that. If you scrolled the screen would it go straight to the bottom of your home screen. I would like it to move to the next 'page' of apps. E.g. on iOS or Android you scroll to the left or right and it goes to the next homescreen. The videosI've seen of Windows Phone it seems to be more fluid, but I feel that would get on my nerves as I see the app I want scroll by. I hope that makes sense. G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Yes is up and down and they are fluid but you don't miss where you want to go and I have more apps on screen than anybody.
G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Esteban Valiente I love Windows phone UI is just elegant and the live tiles make all the difference in the world. But it's not my main driver because of apps, hopefully win10 core on phone, desktop, laptop and Xbox one will finally bring developers. It will live or die on universal apps imho. G+_Damian Mongru
Eng. Jorge Santana Couldn't agree more. I love the look of Windows Phone. Also, Microsoft have actually created a compelling reason to create apps that, with a little effort, can target a lot of devices. I have tried to think of ways to solve this app-problem, and this seems logical, it is up to the developers now.
