G+_David Dunn (tanker405th
Hey folks, I need some help figuring out how to install Let's Encrypt on my Wordpress site. I use a shared hosting provider and have cPanel. I've done some browser searching, but can't seem to find instructions that are clear enough for a newbie like me to completely understand. Thanks! G+_James Hughes
What is it and what does it do? Sounds interesting.
G+_David Dunn (tanker405th
Let's Encrypt provides free certificates to allow your site to be https instead of just http. I don't want to buy a certificate since it's just a simple personal blog site.
G+_Jonathan Clark
Let's encrypt support for cpanel is currently in development. Cpanel has released some scripts for server admins to help with automation. Try filing a ticket with your host to see if they can set you up in the meantime. G+_Rich Guy Miller
I've been considering getting a let's encrypt CERT for my sites as well. My plan is to call my hosting provider because they're not only helpful and knowledgeable but also have the admin rights to make the changes to their hosting servers.
