my 11-yr-old and I just built the 450 Quadcopter from KH115-122 with a Hobbypower KK2.15 Flight Controller, Neewer® 30A FIRMWARE Brushless ESC Set with 3A/5V BEC for RC Quadcopter Multi-copter APM2, Neewer® FS Newest Model FS-T6 AFHDS 2.4G 6 Channel Radio System and Neewer® 935KV 850G CW Thrust Brushless Motor Set on a NEEWER® 4-Axis HJ450 Frame.  now we're stuck: the power's working, the controller is reading the transmitter, but the motors aren't spinning.  we've checked power, the ESCs are getting power through the soldering we did (new to that but seems to have worked).  any suggestions?  I'm sure there's just one setting we're not doing right.  thanks for any help!

we've set up the flight controller, went into the menu/Load Motor Layout and given it the Quadcopter X config., we've done a Receiver Test (all a-okay), but we can't get it out of SAFE mode to ARM mode.  we've done a voltage test and the ESCs are receiving juice but don't seem to be giving any out to the motors (probably because it's not armed, right?).  also, in the SAFE menu the it's showing:

Self-level is OFF

Error: no YAW input

Batt:0.0V Temp:24.7C (fluctuating up to 25.1)

  Roll Angle

Pitch Angle

=============

we've done thing where you press the 1 & 4 buttons for the "Throttle pass-through" to calibrate the ESCs as seen in

...but still no luck.

we've read through the manual here: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uploads/1026124741X1235859X24.pdf

...to no avail.

any ideas why it won't arm?  thanks so much for your help!
