G+_Russ DiBennetto
Episode 342. I created a project a whole house Humidistat last year and in the project I needed to energize a 24 volt AC water solenoid. It was triggered by an Arduino. I used Panasonic AQH0213 Compact DIP Solid State Relay ~ $2.00 from Newark Electronics. It worked flawlessly for an entire heating season. They work on both AC and DC and I would recommend using the AQH0213 for low powered projects, similar to the auto faucet that Megan spoke about.
