G+_Steve Liberty
What's the best file/folder sync tool for a Mac? Needs to support sync from a USB drive to my NAS as well as to various cloud services via their desktop apps.
G+_Ken Torbeck
Looking for one myself for a MAC, but best for Windows is Microsoft's own SyncToy. It has an easy to use GUI, but once you have created a Sync Pair you can run it from a commandline. This let's you perform a sync based on system status (boot, shuting down, etc), or time using Windows Schedule Utility. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=15155
G+_Katherine Taylor Worth
You can use the built in Terminal command rsync. That's the cheapest options, and rsync is very flexible and powerful. If you want something with a GUI and support, I've used Chronosync, http://www.econtechnologies.com/pages/downloads/downloads.html, before, very successfully. It also has lots of options and is an extremely useful program.
G+_Cole Brodine
I have a Linux box and use rsync for something similar all the time.

G+_Cole Brodine
Ken Torbeck - I used to have a script that automatically detected the usb drive was inserted and then ran the rsync command. I'm guessing it would work on Mac. I'd share it, but I got rid of it a while ago. I'm using mostly Dropbox for file syncing these days.
