G+_j r
I have a OUYA sitting around and I want to use it as a webcam dvr /server " tinycam Pro". I just installed lineage-11-20180408-NIGHTLY-MLQ-ouya.zip rom which is still Android 4.4.4 . I guess my question is how secure would it really be on android 4.4.4. And if anyone knows of a better rom post it http://lineage-11-20180408-NIGHTLY-MLQ-ouya.zip
G+_Jason Brown
As long as you keep it off the internet I don't think it matters. Did you need remote access?
G+_j r
I do want to be able to access it through the internet
G+_Paul Hutchinson
I'd worry leaving anything with an OS that outdated sitting constantly accessible from the internet. If it is patched up to the latest security level, October 2017 I think, and you use a service to isolate it from direct internet contact then it could be OK. G+_Travis Hershberger
I'd still want it behind a reverse proxy of some sort.
