So I was getting sick and tired of shoveling AA batteries into my Flysky T6 - even using rechargables is kind of a pain.  Fortunately as it turns out the T6 is fairly easy to modify to accept a LiPo battery!  The LiPo lasts A LOT Longer than AA's (so you can go for an entire day of flying and not have to worry about your transmitter suddenly dying on you) plus it's lighter than a set of 8 AA's as well.

This Turnigy 1450mAh pack is just the perfect size to fit into the T6's battery compartment.(* - see note below)  (It's actually a battery specially made for use in transmitters, and has TWO discharge plugs on it, one for "Futaba" style connectors and one for "JR" style.)  Unfortunately, it's only available from Hobby King's International warehouse, and can only ship via FedEx (a bit pricy), but still IMHO it is worth it (at least when using Fedex it arrived really quickly)  Total including shipping was $31.45.

I couldn't find a place to get the female "Futaba" style connector by itself from, so what I did is I bought a Futaba charge adapter cable and just chopped off the connector part of it.

Anyway the mod took me all of 10 minutes and it works beautifully.  (The way he did the mod in the video appears to make it possible to use either AA batteries or the battery pack, which seems kind of handy, but I didn't bother. :) )

(*)In my case, in order to get the battery door to close properly after fitting the Turnigy battery into the T6 battery compartment, I had to chop off the "JR" connector from the battery (do ONLY ONE LEAD at a time and after you've chopped it off, seal the end with some heat shrink)  I wasn't using that connector anyway.  I probably could've gotten it to fit without chopping off any connectors if I did better cable management, but I chose to lop off the unused connector instead, because not only was it getting in the way, it was also confusing me.
