Aside from the "pre-visualize a building before it's built" use case mentioned in the article, I could think of several others, including GAMING!! Imagine if you got a bunch of drone pilots all in a big empty field, except through the AR, you could "be" in any environment (cityscape, forest, twisty canyons, heck even outer space or something equally as wacky)... then all the drones could fly around and "shoot" each other or something. You'd need to have all the drones linked in to a central computer that handles the AR visualization as well as the game logic (did drone A successfully shoot drone B? did Drone C "collide" with a virtual building/tree/planet/etc.?) but man that would be cool!
