I had just received a Linksys WRT-1200AC wireless router for my birthday. I would like to flash DD-WRT on to it.

 

I'm quite sure this question has been asked at least a hundred times. Which episode of KH do they discuss how to DD-WRT? Or if it hasn't been done in a while. I would like to see a future episode discussing this subject.

As an update, I am currently unable to flash DD-WRT on my Linksys WRT-1200 AC router. I have tried twice and DD-WRT fails to write to my router. I have followed all instructions/directions on the DD-WRT wiki and also watch KH episode 3. What am I doing wrong?

I had trouble flashing one time. It turned out to be the browser I was using. After clearing the cache the flash went over normally.

Do a search for DD-WRT Kong firmware and use his version. The regular DD-WRT version (Brain Slayer) doesn't work well on the 1200ac. I'm using the Kong version on my 1200ac and it works great!
