G+_Max Heep
I just finished the Truecrypt episode (excellent btw) and for me it overkill. I use to use Axcrypt and I figured I would give that a spin again after many years. But a quick glance at their website and it said something about it using their sever. I don't want an encryption program to have anything to do with someone elses sever. So, does anyone know of a program that will allow me to just right click a file, choose "encrypt", and I'm done. That's how the old version of Axcrypt was-simple, fast and sweet! And I am pretty sure it didn't send anything back to their server.
G+_K R
Is axcrypt power compared to truecrypt.
G+_Max Heep
256 AES and Blowfish if I remember right. If someone has the capabilities to break that, then you have bigger problems than worrying about encryption strength.
G+_netBrainiac.com
I looked over the axcrypt website, as well... and decided against downloading their program, as it seemed it also installed some other software. It used to be pretty cool though... I just don't want ecommerce stuff on my pc, as well.. especially when I dunno what the heck it is..
