G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
I agree that the iPhone screen is to small but 6.3" is ridiculous.
G+_Jonathan Rose
I just don't get the appeal of a small screen and an OS that is basically just a grid of icons.
G+_Damian Mongru
What's also weird is that the Galaxy S4 takes the other spot in the top three. This was a phone that all the critics said was not innovative enough/too plasticky/too much bloatware, and had a legendarily bad 'unpacked' unveiling. As always, try the phones that interest you and choose according to your needs.
G+_Colin Angus (splatvonzi
Well stated Damian. My only complaint thus far after owning an S3 and Note3 is the bloatware. :-(
G+_Damian Mongru
I'm not sure where I stand on the bloatware issue. If I was making a handset I would have a homepage you swipe too with all the (e.g. Samsung) apps - all in one place - and the rest of the device pretty much stock. This will also make the removal of items easy to free up disk space. I think some of the additions made were useful but Samsung had a complete communication nightmare e.g. eye tracking tech is more useful as a disability aid, or the S-health/pedometer functionality is not only useful but seems to be where a lot of tech is heading (the quantified self). However, I doubt many people use it as they don't even know it is there. I'm also sure that there is a lot of functionality put there just because Samsung can, without thinking whether they should. There also seems to be little if any thought tin trying to make functionality easy enough to find and use that the user will actually want to use it. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. G+_Steve Huffer
I've gone with a 5-inch Android device and it is too big to use conveniently one-handed (holding briefcase/bag/coffee/train strap/bag/child's hand). It's good for movies, but I'm usually at home doing that and would use the TV or tablet instead. The 4" screen seems about right to me. Until bezels are completely eliminated, that is.
