G+_Kyle “Footr” Van Sandt
Got done with my HK 250 build about a week ago with a KK board. Tuned it up. It flys nice slowly in both self level and acro modes. No issues there. Very responsive. However, in self level mode if I take it up 50' or so, drop the stick and let it fall a bit, and then slam the throttle back it does some really squirly things. It essentially bucks around and kind of "jumps". I once had it flip over and dive into the ground doing this. It does the same thing if I go full throttle one direction and throw it the other direction. It basically does the arial version of a skid. Sometimes it recovers but not always. Should I increase my self level limits? It still does this to a degree in acro mode but it is not as pronounced. I am running 5030 props, not the 5x3x3 that is shipped with. G+_Ben Reese
I haven't built yet, but it sounds like it's overly aggressive on the self leveling. Would adjusting the P&I settings (I think those are the abbreviations) help with this?
