G+_John Taylor
Will they offer it in a selection of colors/finishes? Aside from the "black goes with everything" thought - how nice would this have looked with the previous macpro finish?
G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
With the problems apple has had with white I don't know but they might have fix them so they "could" make a white one...
G+_John Taylor
Well... white is a direction I guess. I was thinking something more brush metal - or carbon fiber. Although I'm completely surprised by the direction they are taking with the design - still deciding if I like it - I wish it had .... something "more". ooh.. how about a mirror finish. G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Well since this is a new design and they made the heat design for plastic on the out side I really don't think they will make a aluminum one. When u design for heat u design for metal case or plastic.

G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Can't believe this monster is that tiny, if they also release dual Nvidia GPU this is a monster that fits in your hand bag Amazing!

G+_Nick Gailfus
Leave it to Apple to release a "Pro" computer that does not look very user upgradeable.
G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
The GPU is upgradable but most expand ability will be done by Thunderbolt 2.
G+_Darren Keith
I guess I'm a dinosaur...the physical medium (CD/DVD) is long gone. External HDs and The Cloud is "official" way to save data now. Wow. Bittersweet in a way. :'(

G+_Jack Zhang
Eng. Jorge Santana Nvidia needs to find it's way back into the Mac Pro. There needs to be a GTX TITAN Mac edition.

G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Chris Cook it has the performance, u mean u want a bigger tower why?
G+_Chris Cook
Eng. Jorge Santana Bigger = better (?) If I pay $10k for a machine, it needs some future proofing. It's early, but I see no way that this machine can grow. I can build 3 powerhouse machines for $10k that will grow as I need them too.
G+_Josh Frye
Does this mean that corporate/government/educational institutions now can't fix their new Mac Pros without sending them back to Apple? Does this mean that those same institutions now have to keep track of how many peripherals? Yes on all counts, hope you have enough in the budget to make sure everyone of these you buy is maxed out right off the bat.
G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Chris Cook thunderbolt 2 has the speed to give u all the upgradability u will need IMHO?
