Has anybody had experience with trying to use a solar cell to light a 5 meter strip of LEDs like we've seen on previous episodes of KH?  I'm trying to help my 9 year old with a science project.  I originally got a 3.6V 100Ma cell from Frys which wasn't near enough.  Just looking for some suggestions.

Go to amazon and put in the voltage needed. You will find a bunch, just make sure they can deliver before your deadline as many come from China. Might want to have the solar panels charge a battery and run the lights off of it.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions.  We ended up finding a 12"x36" panel at Harbor Freight that lit up 2 strips for the project.
