G+_Tom Wisniewski
Confused by this article. Android already can be unlocked using face recognition so that's nothing new. What really confuses me in the article is the end. They say Apple has a patent on this. How is that possible?
G+_David Land
Does this mean apple will stop Samsung from using this? Apple thinks it invents everything even when someone else did.
G+_Ade Torrent
Just because something is currently being used on android doesn't mean someone else doesn't hold a patent for it people. The article mentioned many implementations of facial recognition tech by various companies such as Facebook. No need to immediately turn this into an an iOs vs Android shoot out. Breathe, and remember Apple had nothing to do with this article.
G+_Tom Wisniewski
I'm not saying anything bad against apple but more against the article. It mentions it as if it's something revolutionary and futuristic which obviously is bogus. Just a bad article.

G+_Brian Barcus
Face unlock has been on Android long enough to show it is a fun trick but not something most people want to use.
G+_Ade Torrent
Tom Wisniewski agreed. It's the only way to get people to read articles these days.
