Maybe time to go back to an old Nokia N95 or similar ;-) All newer tech now has trust issues, no matter where it is being manufactured on the hardware side and no matter whom is coding the software. If you can't build your own CPU, or really the whole computer and write 100% of the code you run, then you can never be sure that you can trust anything. We need Richard Stallman devices, but with decent screens and other reasonable tech levels, if that can be possible using components manufactured in this day of snooping from every angle.
