G+_Jason Perry
Is everything up to date? I can't say I share your problem. My cams are a second behind but they are IP cams so that is expected. It is a rare occasion I go back and view the recordings
G+_Ben Reese
What browser are you using? I've only played with Synology in an XPenology VM (running DSM 5.x), but live view in surveillance station required a plug-in in Internet Explorer and Chrome wouldn't work. I was also able to use the DS Cam app on my Android phone (didn't try iPhone).

G+_Ben Reese
Looks like it must still only work on IE synology.com - Surveillance Station - Knowledge Base | Synology Inc.

G+_Ben Reese
Yeah, I heard him say something about having to use IE involving a plug-in, but I don't remember exactly what.
G+_Michael Kalsina
Maybe Fr.Robert can chime in and give us some pointers on how he was able to view it on his system, I appreciate your help Ben

G+_Jason Perry
Have you tried another? There should be a link that comes up, or a spot at the top of the browser to launch the install for the plugin.

G+_Ben Reese
When I click live view in Chrome, I get the message in the first screenshot below. Clicking the FAQ link takes me here: https://www.synology.com/en-us/knowledgebase/Surveillance/tutorial/Surveillance_Station/Why_is_Surveillance_Station_plugin_deactivated_after_the_installation_NPAPI_issue_for_Google_Chrome_version_44_and_older That KB article recommends IE - so I begrudgingly tried it which resulted in the expected success. I checked IE and it installed 2 ActiveX add-ons (in the second 2 screenshots). I hope this helps. /a>
G+_David Wiggins
I was watching that episode earlier today, he said chrome didn't work at all, IE, edge and Firefox with plugin, opera untested.
