Hey guys, been watching the show for a few weeks now and loving what I see so far.

 

I was wondering if you could help with a small problem that's come up recently.

 

This past month, my ISP instituted a bandwidth cap (350 GB / month).  It seems that our first month on the cap, and we've blown it out of the water (my 3 yr old loves Netflix movies).

 

I was wondering if you could recommend an app that I could run on my PC that would work with my Apple Airport Express to monitor my bandwidth (PC, 2 iPhones, 2 iPads, Xbox One, 2 laptops, 3 Chrome casts, and I'm sure I'm missing a few things).  It'd be great if the app could break down usage by device, and even better still if I could have it alert me when I hit a certain threshold.

I think that'll probably have to be done at the router. I use a router with tomato firmware that lets me track my data usage across all devices daily, weekly, and monthly.

LOL I did this for the GizWiz on Twit. It was a stand-alone unit that constantly monitored usage via SNMP and turned on a LED as you neared your monthly limit. You didn't have to have your PC on. But the main thing was to detect when Twit was on when last person went to bed.
