We have a wall mounted flat screen display with very little access to the back for connecting new cables or other attachments. My wife wanted it as close to the wall as possible so the hangers allowing swing out access were not considered. But now wish I had installed a swing out model mounting bracket.

Is there a wall bracket fitting my wife's requirements that can be swung out when need be and maybe use a pin to secure it when access to the back of the set was not needed and maintain the closeness to the wall? Sort of a hinge and pin setup?

Most TV mounts I've seen have some sort of tilt. And if they don't tilt for normal viewing, you can usually loosen a screw and tilt the bottom out for installation.

This is what we got for mounting 2 x 70" TVs and a 50". They don't fit completely flat on the wall, but hold out about 3". The 70" TVs are pulled out and turned about 30°. The 50" is pushed back against the wall.

If you want something that will allow the TV to go basically flush against the wall, you can do something like this.... Definitely a more serious installation, as you will be cutting drywall between two studs, but only way to get a real flush mount.
