G+_Kevin Spitzer (JaguarXT
I started tracking sleep with the Apple Watch but this info looks useless, what's the practical use?
G+_David Pick
Nothing but contributing to insomnia IMO.
G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
I sleep great but if I did had some sleep disorder will this info actually help me fix the problem? Not much there IMHO...
G+_David Pick
Eng. Jorge Santana You have a great point. I can't see what good this information would do if you consulted a doctor about it. Most likely a doctor would dis-regard the data or view it as invalid and insist on performing their own monitored sleep study to prescribe anything. G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Randy Beavers how is sleep tracking actually useful on Android?
G+_Brian Pollak
Just because you can measure it doesn't mean that it's useful. I am a doctor, and I hope that no one brings me their "fitness" app's sleep data. If you can't tell me what's interfering with your sleep (your bladder, your breathing, your mood, a pain, etc.) then you should probably have a formal sleep study which measures more than how often a device's accelerometer jiggles. G+_Stephen Meyer
I find the logic in the Apple Watch tracking sleep to be a bit flawed when most people take the watch off to charge at night - you know, when you sleep.
G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Watch charges in 1:30hrs you can do it before fore bed and last all day
