G+_Rud Dog
There is a huge need for an answer machine online google is great but just doesn't do the job anymore. Maybe a dedicated "Watson" type online research machine? The community is great but questions tend to fade into the past rather quickly.
G+_610GARAGE
Like this? http://stackexchange.com/sites I do have to say that %90 of my questions I find answer on stackoverflow.
G+_Eddie Foy
The entire stackexchange system is my first choice. Great quick hello world answers (and beyond) They say they take advertising, but I've never seen an ad. Nor do I see an donation button. I find them more useful for tech question then Wikipedia. G+_Eddie Foy
Carson Black that's probably Google trying not to be accused of 'cooking the books' on results.
G+_Rud Dog
There was an article I read sometime recently where Watson was asked to solve some problems and using all the "similar" information as it had in Jeopardy faceoff it pointed some folks in the direction of a solution for real world subjects. Not just programing but everyday questions that would be helpful for world of things. Now I know there are somethings that would be off limits but what we are getting now is mostly repeated information with a golden nugget every once in a great while. Some of the answers are downright ambiguous. Guess one can dream.
G+_610GARAGE
Rudy Trujillo Kinda sounds like you want big data of the internet. I actually think this was/is wolfram alpha's goal. To be able to generate an answer based on data. But obviously that only works if your question revolves around math and statistics. But I'm ok with this not being a thing. That just mean us humans are still needed. :)
G+_Rud Dog
The human form will be necessary evil for years to come my wish list holds on to the help of massive data banks which can provide me with answers when frustration has set in and the project is abandoned. There is no current project in mind this is call to all problems solvable or not. The closest we have to this now is Siri's and Amazon's Echo. Google has already gotten mention.
