How hard can it be to have a browser interface resembling a calendar with time format allowing for programming of  lights, motors and other devices.

Select a day in the calendar and set a time to come on and go off or same settings but for a week  or month even the entire year.

All the switches found so far expect you to bend down to the level of the switch and try and program via tiny little symbols and alphanumeric characters.

This method would allow you to use the calendar interface on any device via your browser. No Android or apple app needed or having the app fall by the waste side when you upgrade phones.

Searched the "Google" universe and found nothing like what I have described.

Keep in mind this is a wireless switch we are talking about and there are plenty of them out there just none have simple controlling interface mentioned here.

Rudy Trujillo I don't think it would be all that difficult as long as the master 'hub' that controls the lights has the ability to run a web application server. I don't know much about arduino, but a RaspPi could do it if the lights are all networked somehow.

I suspect the bigger issue is that current home automation manufacturers haven't received enough interest in building such an interface.
