Have one of those ash environments and the time is set to GTM0 my time zone is PacStdTime looked it up and it is GTM -8:00 anyone know if this is the correct entry:    GMT-8 looking for syntax.

I believe you are right... live in central time, Chicago time in Linux is GMT/UTC-6?

The time zone is correct just wondering if the syntax is correct? If currently it is at GMT0 wondering if my time zone would be one of the following:

GMT-8

GMT-08:00

GMT--08

 

Can't seem to find it for my particular Linux.
