G+_Rud Dog
Looking for an amplifier that would meet these needs.
G+_Brandon Bailey
Have you looked at audio receivers? They can connect your speakers and and media devices together to your TV. Or just get a sound bar and then connect your devices to your tv and make seperate profiles on your tv ( if your tv has multiple HDMI ports)

G+_Jason howe
What would be need is a rack to mount all the toys in, most TV's only have connectivity of 2-4 ports, minimum 16m port switch anything in the rack would need a base requirement of a plausible 8-10 devices. connected to a LAN, something with min of 8-10 hdmi ports, don't discount secondary hdmi switches. I say this because you can have up ro 6-10consoles hooked up prior to connecting any other gear to connect up, from the last 360 external, ps3, ps4, xbox one, wiiu and any other console release that supports a connection with hdmi connection.. not forgetting other av sources such as multi disc dvd players, stb, stu and pvr's and bd players
G+_Ben Reese
Definitely sounds like you need a receiver. You can get the receiver and amp separate, but it's a lot cheaper to just get them as one unit. I'm pretty happy with my Denon, but it's definitely not small. G+_Benjamin Webb
Well smallest thing that meets those requirements would be a Outlaw 975 pre-pro and a tiny muse t amp. As any standard receiver would be huge. Cost is $550 for the pre pro and $68 for the amp. Might just want to go with the pre pro and buy some powered speakers. Most descent receivers will be quite large so I got you the the cheapest pre pro I could find. The pre pro is 7.1 and way overkill but 2 channel hdmi pre pro is basically non existant. On the bright side this should sound really good. This will require a stereo rca cable to connect the pre pro to the amp. You could use a lepai amp and save $50 but it is not the most powerful amp. Pre Pro 2.8”x16.9”x9.5” (HxWxD) Amp 2.76in x 2.36in x 1.18in I am assuming you are more concerned with height than length and width given you can fit your tivo and blu ray. If anyone has something cheaper let me know. Personally I would find a way to fit a Denon or Yamaha receiver and call it a day. Just put a cabinet next to the TV stand or get a bigger TV stand. G+_Rud Dog
Benjamin Webb The prepro is sweet but doubt the other set of ears in this family would agree on the price. If only that tiny Muse had one hdmi input it would be perfect. Maybe will search the line they carry and be lucky to find one, we will see. And finally the lepai amp same thing nice to have hdmi input. The other half is very particular what sits in the room where the Flat screen lives so a separate cabinet is not in the cards. Want to thank you for your input this is the direction (small) which seemed ideal for my application. P.S. What are your thought on HDMI Audio Extractor. Only problem I can see, getting the signal out for two speakers.
G+_Happy Fuzzy
Simple solution. Does your TV have a headphone jack?

G+_Rud Dog
David Essex after installing the 3 input to 1 output hdmi switcher found it to function as it was supposed to with one exception. Volume control from the tivo is not controllable. Odd beings the control I am using is for the tivo. Will have to check that out. The idea you present sounds like this obstacle can be overcome will have to try it if it has headphone jack. Thank you.
