While getting my Twit fix happened to notice most of my favorite twit shows are hours long. So wondering why the KH show couldn't be of the same length?

I don't watch security now because of its length. I love the content, just wish it was 45min to 1hr. I know this sounds stupid but life gets in the way and I get mad at life for inturupting.

Hehe. Sounds about right. Most TWiT that I'm subscribed to are audio only. I listen to them to/from work and when I need noise to drown out the noise around me at work (Tech Guy works good for this since it mostly just seems like Leo rambling). Security Now definitely requires my attention so I listen when I'm doing less important stuff, like driving.

Why not listen at x2 or x3?   You save ALL SORTS of time if you speed up the podcasts, and the algorithms are much better than they used to be, so you don't get the high pitch.

I do 1.5× typically and sometimes up to 1.8 if I'm way behind on podcasts.

I slow all the shows down to 1/2 speed just so my tiny little brain can keep up. :)

Jason Perry Understandable. For me can't get enough knowledge and Steve has a way of describing complicated (to me) subjects where my brain can break it down. Very rare you find this trait in complicated minds( and yes Leo is in this same grouping)

With KH they decided instead of a longer show people might pass on, they would do two smaller shows a week with different focuses (for the most part) in each show. I like the format, but wish they didn't get so anal about finishing right on time when they are in the middle of making a good point.

Steve Martin I agree. As far as I'm concerned this is Not a tv station, but a podcast station. All Shows should have a "suggested" limit but NOT a defined limit. In other words, as long or as short as the subject requires. (All shows)

Jonny Ramos agreed. I submitted variable playback rate as a feature request a couple days ago. Would love to have that on mobile! Even better if they could make it available on Chromecast too.
