G+_Rud Dog
Ep 208 Distance Networking gave me an idea but not sure it is is good one? Can fiber be pulled in an existing conduit run? And can it survive a pull of about 100 feet? The idea that fiber is not affected by quick changes in current is the number one reason for using fiber in this case. Do they have a tensile strength for the fiber pull?
G+_Arcturus Lancaster
Use fiber with the right casing. Lots of lube.
G+_Ben Reese
Simple answer is yes. Really depends on your conduit though.
G+_John Saunders
I've made multiple 200+ ft runs without issues, through questionable conduit, but in my industry we use rugged jumpers that are designed to withstand what we put it through. Even normal jumpers can withstand it as long as the tension on them isn't too high.
