I think the cold open should use the wide shot with both of them passing it back and forth. Holy crap they brought back the original version of the theme. Jason and Megan are in tune especially with the perfect transition of the talking on the intro. TOM!!!! So, they aren't talking anymore with the people who report the stories but back to talking with the people who love it. Personally that was the one thing I liked about Mike's run but this is still good. I wonder if they are going to bring back the Friday drinking episode. They made the stories interesting! They need more wide shot. I liked that Jason admits that the teleprompter had a typo twice and just ran with it. "We want the Nub" and "Classic Superfish Spyware" had me dying of laughter. "Over-smartifing" yep we are. "We sent the priest" and "Please don't bring back the con sickness Priest" Now I'm dead from laughing to hard. The Blurbs! 7 minute workout... I have heard this story before... Oh yeah! This morning on iOS Today lol Ethernet cable for my watch Twitter... Do you need to own a headphones company.... Why?!? Jason, you better run before you have Megan drilling you with 7 minutes of nonstop running. Fire the person who wrote this script... Didn't you Jason? lol That definitely looks like a Nokia! The email and voice mail is back! They should put the text on the screen like on TNSS during the Mailbag. It's the ultimate H brand! HuaweiTC! Pronounced like Hauwei and the ending of Fanatic. Put the phone down Jason! Tom!! Not you too!! Tom just pulls out a ViewMaster from beneath the desk. He's prepared lol Buff thumbs I love the ripple transition effect on the monitor. Jason Howell? Megan Morrone? one episode and I am hooked! This was a great start and I can't wait to see where it goes from here! So a short suggestion list: - Cold open would be better with wide shot - Add the email's text on screen - once you got the segments set in stone, we need some intros (maybe by the person who made AAA's) or just some way to notice it changed (like the ripple transition but don't over do it) - more wide shot in general - just like the other TWiT shows, I think the lower third doesn't need to be there always. Use just the logo more often. Maybe for the first so many minutes you use them and then not till after the ad break where you do it for another few minutes (same for the other two ad breaks) then during the end of the show. - For some reason, I think you guys need a saying at the end of the show like Leo does for TWiT (Another TWiT is in the Can) or Broadcast TV Newscasts ("Good Night, Good Luck, and Good News Tomorrow"). Might be too cheesy but I kinda want it. Maybe something playing on how the abbreviation is also Dynamite or something like BYB used ("Keep up with the Tech News Today") Show was great and returned to form while still being new and creative.
