G+_Ben Reese
I'm also a big fan of youtube-dl. Works on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Quick and simple (if you're comfortable in the command line). I didn't realize it was Python powered... Good to know.
G+_David Wiggins
A lot of the other methods get patched out by Google from time to time, but the VLC method Tom Krauska?? listed seems consistent. The drawback is it's a little convoluted. I'm sure someone's worked out a script for it somewhere. . I hope. Edit- just read Ben Reese?'s comment. I'll have to try it. G+_Rud Dog
Tom Krauska Started using and saving videos using VLC and tested them afterwards all was great. Then today wanted to view a tutorial and it gave me the following error. Clearing and closing does not resolve the issue. Tried it with other files I downloaded from YouTube and same results. Have you had this ever happen to you?
