G+_Rud Dog
Looking to buy win 8.1 install disk but ran into a problem, it appears if you are not careful you will end up with a fix-disk not an install disk. Can any one tell me how to be sure what I buy is a fresh install disk?
G+_Kevin Britain
A better option may be to download the ISO direct from Microsoft.. microsoft.com - Windows 8 ISO
G+_Rud Dog
Kevin Britain great link to download the ISO image now trying to follow the other links to locate where I can purchase the license. Read the System Requirements. If you will be installing the operating system for the first time, you will need your Windows product key (xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx). For more information about product keys and when they are required, visit the FAQ page. For Enterprise editions please visit the Volume Licensing Service Center. Headed back now to try and find where I can pay for the product key, as this is a first time fresh install.
G+_Rud Dog
From the Microsoft online agent: "For the Microsoft Store, we only carry the latest version of Windows. This will be Windows 10, I will be happy to assist you with your Windows purchase today."
