THESE ARE THE REASONS I'M GOING TO BUY A XBOX ONE

still just preference.  I'm going to lest what people are upset about and then why I'm gong to look past it

 

1 Used games.  I mostly buy new games anyway.  Anyone else thinks Gamestop rips them off as it is? I think they are trying to do a "Steam-like" experience and no one complains that you cannot resale PC games.......  although steam has hella god sales

 

2 must be online.   If there is 24 hours where I'm offline, I'm fucking furious.  I pay for high speed 24 hr internet and I demand it

 

3 Kinect is the end of privacy.  Privacy is over in case you haven't heard about the NSA and cell phone tapping.  If you super worried about the government spying on you then your not playing Call of Duty.... stick to Pokemon and Smash bros on the 3DS (which i wan as well)

 

4 Xbox isn't for gaming.  Anyone who knows me will tell you that i am a father first and not much a gamer.  I have however wished i could use Kinect command for cable/ live TV.

 

5 the PS4 is cheaper.  I paid 800 for a tablet, I paid 1000 for a good laptop.  100 bucks isn't going to phase me.  as far as im concerned the extra monies is for the Kinect which will come with the Xbox one and the PS4 will not come with a cam on its own. Motion gaming is far from perfect but i will be using it for skype on my TV to communicate with family on the Computers/ phones and that is AWESOME to me.  PS4 is a game machine just like he PS3.  I WANT MORE

 

6 PLUS.... I want a htpc.  Xbox to what I needed and I'm sure there will be more file types and sharing with the new one. The htpc i wanted to build was getting in the 500 range anyway.

 

7 In the long run everyone will want what the Xbox one has on day one.  PlayStation can add stuff as they go but as i see it this is a hail Mary. Both companies are in trouble and the new war for consoles are the war for the new digital life we re living.

Nothing a towel can't fix, they have converts for the kinect 1 on amazon ?. I mean under that thought don't get a cellphone or a laptop with a cam and mic
