G+_Alan Clarke
I wish there was a way to poll listeners on whether or not they wanted the top stories removed. I know that was by fan request, but I personally looked forward to that part of the show before the discussion. I think both are a key ingredient to what made TNT great. Would be good to know if I'm just in the minority though
G+_Mike Elgan
There is a way to poll listeners (and viewers), but we're first going to develop the show and TN2 together to the point where we're covering more stores in more depth (on average) in the same or less time. When we've run the show in its future format (we're not there yet), we'll take the pulse of both current audience and prospective future audience to see how they like what we're doing. G+_Don Robinson
Mike Elgan Just fair so far. Mike, you should be the one that is interviewed. You always have a wealth of Knowledge. A trained Reader should do what you are now doing. Tom's Show is still better. Copy it and you will do great. G+_Nathan K
I also miss the "Top Stories". I am confused by what TNT is going for it is only 30 minutes and the segments seem rushed and cut off; like today with the bit coin Google guest. But there is no news overview. Is TNT an in depth coverage of key stories or an overview of all the top stories, and I can go look up the stories that spark my interest? TN2 could be the quick overview, but then ditch the guest on it and just read the story overviews. Then dump the 30 or less from TNT. If it is the deep dive show and it runs 35 or even 45 minutes sometimes at least I get the whole story. Alternatively, TNT could be the 30 minutes or less quick overview and TN2 could be the in depth dive of the ONE top story of the day.? The difference between the two shows is hard to find. It seems that TN2 is jut the left overs you could not shoe horn into the 30 minutes. Can you explain what your vision is and how the two shows relate and are different? Is it just the length of time and one host vs two?
G+_Bradley Brown
I listened to TNT during my commute for the tech news, in a news format. I work too much to catch the nightly news on my local broadcast carrier, and they seldom talk tech. If I want in depth, I'll listen to This Week in Tech or one of the many theme shows. Please bring back the news.?
