G+_Rud Dog
Was checking my startup portion of my computer for no real reason other then to check it and found: RAVCpl64.exe Did a google search and found this should I be concerned? RAVCpl64.exe is a Verisign signed file. The RAVCpl64.exe file is a Microsoft signed file. The file has a digital signature. RAVCpl64.exe is not a Windows core file. The program is not visible. RAVCpl64.exe is able to record keyboard and mouse inputs. Therefore the technical security rating is 1% dangerous, however you should also read the user reviews. The part that got my attention was "RAVCpl64.exe is able to record keyboard and mouse inputs."
G+_Ben Reese
Sounds like it should be safe. Bleeping Computer says its for Realtek HD Audio. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/RAVCpl64.exe-26234.html
G+_Phil Atencio
I ran into this years ago and I believe is why RealTek is a poor program to use. I dumped it before using it anymore.
G+_Rud Dog
Forgive me but is this not the definition of a key logger? "RAVCpl64.exe is able to record keyboard and mouse inputs."?
