G+_Rud Dog
Camelcamelcamel and how it works? I have lists of items and prices I am willing to pay for New Amazon, New 3rd party, and used 3rd party. Today got a notice from CCC and it showed my item at the price I was willing to pay for it. I click on 3rd party new but it takes me to Amazon and shows me the prices Amazon wants and not the third party showed on CCC. Can anyone tell me how this works. G+_Akira Yamanita
You might need to select the desired listing, assuming that it's still there. Prices and third party availability change all the time. How quickly were you able to check the price after receiving the email? Sometimes, those prices only last for a few minutes. G+_Rud Dog
Akira Yamanita If we are talking minutes then there is a chance I missed it. I get my notices via Pushbullet on my desktop PC.
G+_Akira Yamanita
Rud Dog? My experience is that the prices stick around for hours or longer, but I've seen a few fleeting ones. There can be some delay issues at CCC for various reasons. The main one would be having to pull the price data. It's possible that the price change happened a while ago but the price polling didn't occur until shortly before the price changed again.
G+_Ben Reese
On Amazon, there are options to list the prices from 3rd party sellers. It's usually a link near the "buy now" or "add to cart" buttons.
G+_Ben Reese
On mobile it's this [used & new] button.
G+_Akira Yamanita
Yeah, in case I wasn't clear, you might need to look for the third party listing or go to new or used (depending on where the desired price was) and choose "lowest offer". Amazon doesn't have separate product pages for each listing so the link from CCC might not show the desired listing. It shows whatever Amazon thinks you should see first. G+_Rud Dog
Picked two items for which there were Third- party-new email alerts followed them to the Amazon site. Found the listing for other sellers unfortunately the price alert sent was no where to be found just regular prices. Now this may be due to the age of the email (earlier today) so will keep an eye on alerts and rush over to see if the price alert indeed shows up. Thanks all.
