G+_Rud Dog
I've been reporting my Asus RT-AC87u router has been dropping WiFi and at nearly the same time my LAN goes down. Finally got to check the log on the router and found this : Feb 8 17:23:14 dnsmasq-dhcp[441]: not giving name localhost.RuddogsDomain to the DHCP lease of 192.168.1.133 because the name exists in /etc/hosts with address 127.0.0.1 checked the /etc/hosts file and all I could find was the following: 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost 192.168.1.1 router.asus.com 192.168.1.1 www.asusnetwork.net 192.168.1.1 www.asusrouter.com 192.168.1.1 RT-AC87U-EBE8.RuddogsDomain RT-AC87U-EBE8 Any thoughts? BTW scan of the LAN found no computer at 192.168.1.
