Been staring at this screen for ~20 minutes now....was hoping to get a bit more detail on my poor SSD :(

 

Update: It's been going for almost 7 hours, no change that I can see...

Upgrading to ssd? Which one did you choose?

George Somers not upgrading....I chose Vertex 3 a while ago, apparently it died >_>

 

Note I also have a vertex 2 (when they were new) which has been fine for a few years.

That said, i'm toying with the idea of getting an SSD that's PCIe compatible (or mSATA w/ PCIe adapter).... just seems like it makes more sense given that:

 

 

1) faster than SATA3

2) smaller & nicer than the current 2.5" form factor
