G+_Brandon Giesing / CosiC
With the topic of the last episode on not hacking your device, I have a Nexus 7 and for the past two weeks I have been trying to go stock with no root. Just today I have switched back to my main ROM, Paranoid Android, because even though I love the stock features and appearance... I couldn't live without my hybrid properties and I have gotten used to the new Halo feature so much that it is hard to go back to stock. My main problem with hacking was bricking the device which happened to two of my previous tablets. (one happened within two days of purchase and the other one happened because of a bug with the sprint model's memory chip also my only other tablet broke because it for ran over by a school bus... ) with the Nexus it is so easy to hack it is almost impossible to brick but you can also say why would you need to hack cause it is already running stock. (unless you want something like PA) So really you just have to way the costs!
G+_Robert McLaughlin
I have never hacked but have always wanted to. My phones and tablets are too important for work and what not. I just upgraded from a thunderbolt to a S4 so it's going to become my guinea pig now...!
