G+_Pepper Horton
My wife got an automated call on her cell phone a few days back telling her that her debit card had been locked and asking for her card number. Part way through the process she got suspicious and hung up but we still ended up cancelling the card and getting a new one...so, security risks are everywhere... G+_Lauren Glenn
Best way to protect yourself is to read a fake number to them to see how they react. If they say "Thank You" and continue on, you know that it's a scam.
G+_Peter Soeth
If they have to ask you for your number then you know it's a scam. The number shouldn't matter it be discussed.
