Eyes just aren't what they use to be thank goodness for the ability to zoom in and out while the browser is in use. It would be nice, and tell me if there is, away to do that same thing with the desktop. Icons are hard to read, docs fonts small you get the idea. Would rather not make changes to font sizes in each application or system setting.

Is there such a beast out there?

For the desktop, you need to change system settings. What os are you running for more details?

Have you tried just right clicking on the desktop and going to View- Large Icons? Does that make your desktop better? For document fonts you should be able to use Ctrl+ to increase font readability.

Marc T Zicari, Thank you for your input. Those are great ideas and will use them unfortunately the inability extends to splash boxes, instructions embedded in applications and other such hard to read(for me) items.

It has become second nature for me while using browser to zoom in by merely using the mouse wheel and control key, So much so I find myself pressing the same combination of key while outside the browser window of course it does nothing.

Have you tried the Windows Magnifier, or does that not work for you?

Ben Reese it is a bit troublesome but if there is nothing better guess I am stuck with it. Thanks for the input
