G+_Brandon Giesing / CosiC
Here is an update on my Cross-Post Guide for Google+ to Twitter/Facebook. Twitter worked fine but the RSS Feed solution with Facebook kept posting things from communities and private posts instead of just public posts. I found by switching to a different RSS feed provider fixed that. Also just to make it simpler, I did the suggestion of the commenters and used IFTTT to automate the posting. For Twitter: Simply use the IFTTT Recipe linked below, named Google+ to #Twitter , and change the number in the feed URL to the number in your Profile URL. For Facebook: Use the IFTTT Recipe linked below, named Google+ to #Facebook Profile, and do the same thing as the Twitter one. What is different about this compared to the millions of recipes on IFTTT that do the same thing? The Feed format shares the post really close to original format and doesn't share non-public posts. For Example, GPlustoRSS doesn't show the original post if you reshare a post, this feed provider does.
