G+_Rud Dog
Can anyone else see the contradition in this Q and A; YouTubeTV Are there really no DVR storage limits? You can record as many programs as you want at the same time, without ever running out of storage space. We’ll even keep each recording for 9 months. G+_Brian Barcus
To someone like me who routinely lets all or most of a season of TV programs sit on my TiVo until I have time to binge them, the "unlimited DVR" claims of YouTubeTV ring hollow. I gave YouTubeTV a try when it first became available to me. It was looking pretty good until I tried to catch up on a program only to get a message that the rights owner limited the number of weeks they could keep a recording. One show timed out while I was watching it. My problems may have been errors in the system but it was enough to run me off.
G+_Paul Hutchinson
The YouTube answer to that FAQ is clearly, no, there are limits. Their answer then provides more detail stating there are no storage size limits just storage time limits. So their advertising of "Cloud DVR with no storage limits" is false advertising and a violation of US advertising rules. They need to say "Cloud DVR with no storage size limits"
