True type fonts can be a vector for malicious code. Has anyone checked the security of this application?

I love technology. I've tried this out and it works beautifully. Just follow these steps:

1. go to http://www.myscriptfont.com/

2. Download the ScriptTemplate.pdf

3. Fill it out (dark pen or sharpie)

4. Scan it (saved as TIFF, PNG, or JPG)

5. Upload, and it auto converts it to a .TFF file

6. Install your new font on your computer http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-install-fonts-on-windows-mac-linux

 

A couple tips though. Stay in the inner box on the blank form so your letters don't get chopped off. Try to make sure your letters are centered so you don't end up with something like my letter "d" below. Make final file before uploading as high a resolution as you can, but it must be under 2mb. Have fun!
