G+_Robert Hafer
I’ve given electric throws, small electric blankets, over the years and they’ve been well received by relatives who are often cold. I’ve seen massage chairs with heat but have no experience with them.
G+_Rud Dog
Robert Hafer same here but when the cold hits she can't seem to find them. Has to do with the summertime storage thing. Can't misplace a chair?

G+_Jason Marsh
I'm with Giligain I. , Hack all the things! Back when I was a wee Sergeant I was working on a tank range once and noticed the mat used for heating targets for nightfire training would make an excellent DIY heated seat. Never tried it, but the material was pretty resilient. A target could get swiss-cheesed pretty good and continue to heat. I bet the DIY heated seat kits you can find now are pretty much the same stuff. Perhaps it's time to get your DIY on and upgrade your loveseat. A heated automotive seat has the basics, but probably not enough electro-thermal mat to take care of your project. Just make sure you've got good temperature control.
