G+_Rud Dog
Decided to catch up with some of "The New ScreenSavers" on this one chilly afternoon using YouTube via my Tivo unit. Was disappointed the video would halt every 5 to 10 seconds for about 1 or 2 seconds wash and repeat. Now this does not happen on my desktop computer? Anyone have ideas what is causing this on my Tivo?

G+_Robert Hafer
I think the streaming apps for the TiVo are the poor stepchildren of the streaming app family. I’ve experienced little irritating problems with most of them. It does keep the TiVo from being the ultimate digital entertainment device.
G+_Rud Dog
Robert Hafer now that you mention it sounds like you have hit the nail on the head which is something I might also use that hammer for, the Tivo. The other Tivo in the living room does the same thing supporting your theory the streaming SW/HW is crap. When I have some of that rarer then uranium, time, will look into replacing the dam things. They have been such a headache with the exception of ordinary watching of recorded content. BTW before they removed the ability to record streaming video this problem was non-existent. Boy was I pissed when they sneakily removed that feature.
G+_Robert Hafer
Rud Dog Now that you mention it, yes, I also miss downloaded podcasts on my TiVo. You can download movies from Amazon, but only ones you pay for not Prime videos. Until the change that.
