G+_Rud Dog
Nice to be able to check the voltage and current draw of any device you plug into your usb port.
G+_Paul Hutchinson
Do be aware that the voltage is only valid at the point in the system where it is inserted. The voltage the device sees may be much lower depending on the resistance of the cable and connectors between the tester and the device. I've seen users think there must be something wrong with a device because the voltage looks good on their tester but when they actually check the voltage at the device end with a DMM it is too low causing improper operation. The impact is greater the more current the device is drawing.
G+_Rud Dog
Paul Hutchinson Agreed. It would be nice if every supply had a pot on it to adjust the load voltage to the required level. Like the great looking display and some sort of idea what the current and voltage might be.

G+_Jeff Gros
These things are more useful than you would think! I've bought cables before (like cheap QVS brand from Microcenter) which would refuse to carry more than 0.5 Amps. Took me some debugging to track my voltage drop to the USB cable from the wall brick!
