Nice to be able to check the voltage and current draw of any device you plug into your usb port

Do be aware that the voltage is only valid at the point in the system where it is inserted. The voltage the device sees may be much lower depending on the resistance of the cable and connectors between the tester and the device.

 

I've seen users think there must be something wrong with a device because the voltage looks good on their tester but when they actually check the voltage at the device end with a DMM it is too low causing improper operation. The impact is greater the more current the device is drawing.
