G+_Karen Hope
Iyaz- is there anyway around the delay that occurs when you connect via Airfoil to multiple speakers in your house via wifi?? This would be SO awesome if it weren't for the delay! I enjoyed your show so much on wireless audio so I am trying to figure this out with my existing laptops/iphone/android tablet. G+_Christian Delén
Rogue Amoeba claims that multiple outputs can be played in sync (http://www.rogueamoeba.com/airfoil/mac/), in contrast to the result in the episode. Has anyone succeeded to get it in sync?
G+_Karen Hope
I have two speakers- one on an android tablet hooked up to speakers and one on my iPhone in 2 adjacent rooms and the difference between those 2 speakers is just enough to hear an annoying delay. G+_Karen Hope
It sounds like an echo...
G+_Karen Hope
Actually I just figured out that if I do not use an android and have airfoil playing music out of my laptop and then my iPhone in another room hooked to speakers it IS in sync. It is the Android tablet that has a delay with the other speakers. Hummmm.
G+_iyaz akhtar
Karen Murphy I bet since there's an Android involved there's some kind of workaround that causes the delay. Even with two Apple devices as the receivers, I experienced delay with AirPlay audio.
